VOLUNTEERS - EMPLOYMENT

CC Milledgeville Youth Arts and Enrichment Program is designed for children between the ages of ten and eighteen. CC Milledgeville encourages diversity in all its programs, no child will be refused admission based on sex, religion, or ethnic background.

Campus Club Milledgeville admits a new cohort of students every fall. Students must be at least 9 years of age before acceptance into the program.

Students will be chosen by a yearly drawing and/or through organizational/corporation partnership. Acceptance is also based on the number of available slots.

College Students

Our staffed and dedicated volunteers will oversee the artistic, technical, and educational instruction during program hours. All are degreed in their area of expertise.  In partnership with Georgia College&State University’s “Service Learning Program”, participating students can volunteer as they earn college credits, supplementing our facilitators.

Professional

Professional Volunteers will train our campus club volunteers. They will do this through workshops and professional development programs.

Community

Community volunteers will be used to support the program. Kingdom Artist Network (KAN), a student organization on the campus of Georgia College & State University has already adopted this program for community service.

Event/Fundraiser Planning & Assistance
We are looking for passionate and motivated Grant Writers and/or Fundraisers. These positions are very important in obtaining grants and funding from various state and federal governments, corporations, foundations, international organizations, private individuals and others, for the Campus Club Milledgeville to accomplish its much-needed and enviable mission. Due to the fact that Campus Club Milledgeville is a 501(c)(3) federal and full tax-exempt organization it is automatically eligible and qualified for funding from numerous sources. These are great volunteer positions for the right and committed individuals with the heart and mind of helping today’s youth. These positions may be worked from home or other locations, and are perfect for seasoned professionals, college and graduate students, and others.
Language Interperters/Translators
Give the gift of sign and time. Campus Club Milledgeville offers all our students an opportunity to learn sign language.  We are looking for volunteers who are experienced with finger spelling/American Sign Language or who are interested in working with clients who are hearing impaired and legally blind. This is challenging work but incredibly rewarding.
Office Help
Volunteers will help office staff with answering phones, filing, folding and stuffing mailers, labeling, and other duties that help support the office in the mission.

Public Speaking/Advocacy & Promotion
If you love giving a good speech, then you could spread the word about our work at community events and meetings.
